A hybrid structured asymmetric switching capacitor multilevel inverter (ASC-MLI) is suggested in this work. The notion behind presenting topology to reduce the device count and DC sources as compared with conventional MLI. step by operating mode of single phase ASC-MLI presented doing slight modifications same configuration used three utility application electric drive. proposed configurations utilize major benefits self-voltage balancing capability voltage, which independent from different load type modulations index. To generate pulse for corresponding switches multi-carrier based sinusoidal width modulation (MCS-PWM) technique used; addition simulation result are obtained using MATLAB/Simulink 2016b software version.
